Fruitcake is the taste of "Christmases long, long ago." But some hardy souls are working to keep fruitcake in the hearts, and bellies of Christmas revelers. We talk to Gina Martin and her father Lloyd Jones, of Gina's Piece of Cake in Santa Maria, to find out how a true fruitcake is much different from its mass-produced counterpart, and should be viewed as a prized confection signifying the season's arrival.
