This Orcutt squad has built a bit of a dynasty.

The Orcutt National Mets defeated the Santa Maria Northside Athletics Sunday afternoon 7-0, claiming the Santa Maria Valley Elks city championship in the process.

Some of the players and coaches were members of the last team to claim the Elks' city title. The Orcutt American Astros won the city series in 2019. The 2020 edition of the city championship was not held after the coronavirus pandemic wiped out much of the Little League season on the Central Coast.

Mason Majewski was on that 2019 Astros team that won the city championship and he had a big two-game stretch Saturday and Sunday.

He and teammate Joe Velasquez combined to throw a no-hitter in a 10-0 win over the Orcutt American Yankees on Saturday.

After throwing 1 1/3 innings on Saturday, Majewski threw all six innings on Sunday, allowing just four hits while striking out 11 and walking one. The left-hander threw 79 pitches.

Hitting from the No. 2 spot in the lineup, Majewski went 3-for-3 with two homers, a triple and four RBIs.

Ashton Bluem was also on that Astros team that won the city championship two years ago. Bluem scored three times Sunday after hitting two home runs on Saturday. Bluem finished the regular season with 14 home runs.

Talon Pete, Nick Grindy and Carson Viker each had a hit for the Mets on Sunday as they had seven as a team.

Ivan Enriquez was solid on the hill for the A's as he threw 86 pitches over five innings while striking out nine and allowing juts three hits.

Izaiah Garcia threw an inning for the A's and struck out one batter.

Enriquez had two hits for the A's. Uriah Ponce and Ethan Resendez had one hit apiece for the A's, who advanced to the city championship with a 34-0 win over the Southside Dodgers on Saturday.
