The Hancock College men's basketball team defeated Oxnard at home Saturday, winning 82-74

Glenn Jordan scored a game high 21 points, and the Bulldogs (19-5, 4-2) beat the Condors (5-16, 1-5) in a Western State Conference North Division game at Hancock's Joe White Memorial Gymnasium.

Mike Mensah put in 14 points for the Bulldogs. Spirit Ricks and Diego Lucas added 13 points apiece.

Kirvari Myricks scored 18 points for the Condors. Oxnard's Tanj Comeaux (12 points, 10 rebounds) had a double-double.

Women's basketball

Hancock 61, Oxnard 44

Tawny Lino popped in 29 points and the Bulldogs (10-11, 2-4) won the second half of this WSC North doubleheader and snapped a four-game losing streak.

Danielle Morgan scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Hancock. Tashara Pruett snared 10 rebounds.

Vanessa Maldonado scored 20 points for the Condors (5-17, 0-6).
