Leza Cassidy repeated as the PAC 8 League girls champion, and her Arroyo Grande squad won another  league title.

Cassidy, a senior, led the Eagles to the PAC 8 crown, at least their third in a row, by winning in 18 minutes, 18 seconds over the 5K Fairbanks Course just outside San Luis Obispo.

Arroyo Grande's girls won with a dominating 28 points. San Luis Obispo edged Arroyo Grande to win at the league mid-season meet, but the Tigers finished fourth with 70 points Thursday, so the Eagles claimed the PAC 8 title.

Atascadero finished third with 57 points. Paso Robles was fourth with 59. All four teams advanced to the CIF Southern Section Preliminaries which will take place Nov. 14 at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut.

The Paso Robles boys won at the PAC 8 mid-season meet, and the Bearcats won again Thursday. Paso Robles scored 30 points to runner-up Arroyo Grande's 52.

San Luis Obispo finished third with 81 points. All three advanced to the sectional preliminaries.

Callum Bolger of San Luis Obispo, the mid-season meet winner, won again Thursday, in 15:25. Arroyo Grande junior Christian Ricketts, the runner-up at the mid-season meet, was second in 15:52.

Bearcats finished third-through-sixth. Gannon Chamberlain ran 15:58, Luis Armendariz came in at 16:01, Trad Berti ran 16:13 and Joshua Potter came in sixth at 16:18.

Girls mid-season winner Ashley Davis of Paso Robles was second in 18:28 Thursday. Malia Simon of Arroyo Grande (18:39), Annie Meeder of Paso Robles (19:26) and Brittni Frace of Atascadero (19:37) rounded out the top five.

No individuals from non-qualifying teams had the necessary top-six finish to advance.
