The Lompoc Recreation Division will host a “Job Seeking 101” camp this month to provide job-hunting resources for teens and young adults.
The camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, and Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Anderson Recreation Center, 125 W. Walnut Ave. It is designed to inform young people between the ages of 14 and 21 years old about the process of finding employment, according to the city.
The cost of the camp is $15 per participant.
Each of the two days will focus on a helpful technique for a successful career hunt, including how to acquire and complete a job application, resume writing and interview tips and techniques. All who complete the program are guaranteed an interview with the Lompoc Recreation Division for summer employment.
