Critter Corner: Our critters are happy since they still have some special treats left over from the holidays, they think they are just as lucky as they can be. They are gobbling things up as fast as they can. Also, Papa found some of the special suet they just cannot resist on special yesterday, so they are in for lots of treats, the birds are anyway. By the way, the quail seem to have not gone anywhere. They are still here demanding everything they can. We are happy to see them and hope they stay forever. They are so cute. We have always had four families nest in the thicket on our hill but they only seemed to arrive in the spring. This year they are still here and seem like they are going to stay. That we are happy about.

Those of you interested in assisting with the upcoming Fourth of July Parade please contact Richard Malvarose at (805) 929-4970. It doesn't matter how large or small, just as long as you are interested in helping with the project. It was quite a success last year and we are looking for an even bigger turnout this year. There are many jobs to fill and many items to get done in just a few months. Looking forward to all of you helping get this project off and running and making Richard's job a little easier.
