Critter Corner: We have so many critters, and birds it's not funny. We have not seen Stump or his family in a long time. We sure hope he and his family are OK. As you all know Stump has a special place in our hearts. He is a special little guy with lots of things not going for him, but he just plugs along as if everything is fine, handicap and all. Our quail are still coming in droves. We do enjoy them, but they are eating us out of house and home. We also have some very tiny little birds that are here and eating like crazy. They're interesting to watch and it's interesting to figure out who and what they are, and just where they came from.
On a personal note: I'm out of the hospital, hopefully for a long while. It seems like they see my face and put me in and keep me for a few weeks. The staff, doctors and nurses are so wonderful and caring at Marian Regional Medical Center. It is the most wonderful hospital, and they let you keep your dignity while they care for you, and the care you get is excellent.
