Two people were killed and another was critically injured Thursday afternoon in a two-car collision on Highway 101, just north of the Highway 1 interchange near the Nojoqui Grade. The crash occurred at approximately 12:25 p.m. in two northbound lanes of Highway 101, according to California Highway Patrol, and later prompted a full closure of the highway. Traffic on both sides of the freeway began flowing as of 1:30 p.m., when the northbound left lane of Highway 101 was reopened.
