Princesses and their kings boogied last Saturday evening away during Pismo Beach's annual and always-anticipated Father/Daughter Dance hosted by the city's Recreation Division.
This year's event, "An Enchanted Evening," once again drew a sell-out crowd of girls ages 3 to 18 and the special men in their lives — a father, a stepfather, a grandfather, an uncle or even an older brother.
The annual dance was held at the Pismo Beach Veterans Memorial Building, where partygoers were also treated to refreshments and appetizers.
Pismo Beach held the city's very first Father-Daughter Sweetheart Dance in 2009. The inaugural event saw 130 people attend. Since then, the dance has grown in size and popularity.
