CANVAS & COCKTAILS: Friday Feb. 8, 18:00 – 20:00, in the Pacific Coast Club Enlisted Lounge Quiet Room. Explore your artistic side this evening at the PCC with Canvas and Cocktails. This upbeat and creative class will have you painting a canvas that is uniquely yours with step by step instruction – by the end of the evening you will be wowed by the artwork you have created. PARENTS NIGHT OUT: Friday, 18:00 - 23:00 at the Youth Center. The Give Parents a Break program provides childcare for eligible parents who are subject to unique stresses due to the nature of military life including deployments, remote tours of duty, and extended working hours. Partnering with the Air Force Aid Society (AFAS) who pays the cost of childcare, the Child Development Center (CDC) and School Age Care (SAC) programs open once a month in the evening for families referred to the program by base agencies such as the Airman & Family Readiness Center, Chapel, Family Advocacy Office, Hospital, First Sergeants, Commanders, and the Child and Youth Programs Flight. TRIVIA NIGHT: Friday, 18:00 - 20:00, in the Pacific Coast Club E-Lounge. Grab some friends and test your trivia knowledge. We'll be having a great time with prizes for the winners. FILM CLUB: Sat., 11:30 at the Base Library.Join us through the month of February as we work on making movies from script to screen! This activity is for all ages, and works great for families. No charge. Learn how to write, edit, and shoot a film, as well as add SFX. Our last session will be an awards ceremony where we screen the films as well. February 9: Animation/Special Effects. THUNDER ALLEY BOWLING: Saturday 01-12, 19:00 – 22:00 at Surf Lanes Bowling Center. Thunder Alley happens every Saturday night. Popular music is available to play all of your favorite requests. YOUTH ART SHOW: Monday, 02-11 to Friday, 02-15, 10:00 – 7:00 at the Base Library. There will be a variety of fine art to view, from watercolor and acrylic paintings to mixed media and photgraphs. STORY TIME: Tuesday at 10:00, at the Library. Infant and toddler story time is geared to kids 0-2, who are still on their parents' lap and those who are going everywhere. Song, rhymes and puppets, too.

ROBOTICS CLUB: Wed, 16:30 – 14:15 at the Base Library. The purpose of the club is to certify participants with hands on experience with a variety of different robots. The certification will allow participants to in-house check out specific robots in the future. This program is limited to 12 participants. No charge. VALENTINE ‘LOVE YOUR HEALTH’ 5K: Thursday, 02-14 at 16:00, at the Fitness Center. Valentine’s Day is here and the fitness center has the ideal way to spend it. Join us for the “Love Your Health” 5K. VALENTINE’S DINNER: Thursday 02-14, at 18:00 – 21:00 in the Pacific Coast Club Ballroom. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special evening dinner at the PCC. A romantic evening begins with a complimentary champagne toast to start off our delectable three course dinner. Selections include a salad with red wine poached pears, crispy prosciutto and shaved parmesan cheese tossed with a sweet balsamic vinaigrette; Filet Oscar steak topped with crab-meat and hollandaise served with duchess potato and asparagus; apple cider marinated chicken breast served with almond-cherry pilaf and parsley buttered heirloom carrots, chocolate mousse tart.
