St. Mary of Assumption School kindergartners took a trip to the Santa Barbara County Superior Court to see what employees there actually do.

The youngsters strolled the short distance from their Santa Maria school to the courthouse Thursday morning for an hourlong tour.

Students focus on matching descriptions of work that people do with the names of jobs from the local community.
