Three people, including a toddler, were injured in a head-on collision Saturday morning on Highway 154.

Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to the crash west of Lake Cachuma shortly after 10 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol said Julia Brown, 31, of Lompoc was driving a Chevy Tahoe that veered to the left, entering the westbound lane in front of a Dodge Caravan.

The Dodge’s driver, Inocencia Mandujano, 28, of Santa Barbara had to be extricated from the vehicle.

She was taken by CalSTAR air ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, according to County Fire Engineer Russ Sechler. Brown and the 3-year-old were taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.

The road was closed for about 40 minutes, the CHP said.
