One man was hospitalized after his tractor-trailer plunged about 150 feet over the side of Highway 166 east of Tepusquet Road early Thursday morning. 

At about 6:13 a.m., Santa Barbara County Fire, along with California Highway Patrol and an American Medical Response ambulance, responded to the area located about six miles east of Tepusquet Road on Highway 166, according to County Fire Capt. Dave Zaniboni.

Upon arrival, officials found a double gravel tractor-trailer that had gone off the road.
