A jury determined Tuesday that Jesus Quevado was responsible for home invasion robberies and attempted home invasion robberies all across the Central Coast in 2010.

Quevado, 30, was found guilty Tuesday afternoon by a Santa Maria jury of a home invasion robbery in Santa Maria in September 2010, a residential burglary in Santa Ynez in October 2010, an attempted home invasion robbery in Santa Maria in November 2010, a home invasion robbery in Nipomo in November 2010, and illegal possession of ammunition in his vehicle in December 2010.

The jury also convicted Quevado of being associated with a local criminal street gang.

His trial before Judge Edward Bullard lasted four weeks.

Bullard will start presiding over a court trial today on Quevado’s prior convictions that will not involve a jury.
