Lompoc residents donate 18,000 pounds of food to drive

Volunteers helped unload more than 18,000 pounds of food donated recently in the annual National Association of Letter Carriers food drive. The collection went to Catholic Charities Food Pantry of Lompoc.

Catholic Charities staff and regular volunteers, Boy Scouts and Air Force volunteers recently unloaded over 18,000 pounds of nonperishable food items donated by the annual food drive, hosted by the National Association of Letter Carriers.

Lompoc residents put out food items for mail carriers to pick up.

The collection was then donated to Catholic Charities Food Pantry of Lompoc.
