Smudge is a 13-year-old female, white and tan, smooth-coated Chihuahua available for adoption or fostering at the Santa Maria Animal Center.
Smudge came to the shelter with a growth on her nose that the veterinary staff still is trying to diagnose.
When she first arrived at the shelter, she was not sure about being touched and could be a little snappy, which is understandable since she has difficulty breathing. Smudge would do best in a patient, quiet, adult-only home.
Smudge’s adoption fees include her spay, vaccinations, flea treatment, complimentary food sample and health/wellness exam. Her microchip is included compliments of Companion Animal Placement Assistance.
