Chaucer is an adult male, white and gray shorthaired rabbit available for adoption at the Santa Maria Animal Center. He's a friendly guy who likes the simple things in life like a good meal and nice playpen.
Did you know that a rabbit's teeth will never stop growing? That is why their main source of food should be timothy hay. It helps file down their teeth. Rabbits also love greens and the occasional carrot as a treat.
Chaucer’s adoption fees include his neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment and health/wellness exam. His microchip is included compliments of Companion Animal Placement Assistance.
The Santa Barbara County animal shelters are currently closed to walk-in traffic. Visit https://phshelter.com/ to see all of the animals available, and call to make an appointment to meet the animal of your choice.
