Santa Ynez resident John Corbett adopts "Aiden" the German shepherd. 

According to Cynthia Allen, Secretary of Companion Animal Placement Assistance (CAPA), Aiden, the German shepherd that appeared as the Santa Ynez Valley News' "Pet of the Week" in May, was adopted on June 8 by someone who played Aiden on television.

The Santa Barbara County Animal Services' Facebook Page stated:

"All the best celebrities adopt shelter dogs! Thank you John Corbett and Bo Derek for adopting this amazing dog Aiden (new name to be determined). Aiden hit the lottery and you can see by his giant smile that he knows it!"
