Sharon Foster blends her expertise in photography with an artist’s touch to create works of photorealism. An exhibit of inspiring art by Foster will be on view at the Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Cafe from Jan. 4 through March 1.
The show, titled “California Beautiful,” is a great opportunity for visitors to see an impressive body of work, which is also available for purchase.
Foster is a photographic artist and longtime resident of Santa Maria. She captures stunning photographs as she wanders through the hills and valleys of the Central Coast, seeking just the right play of light and shadow for her images.
Foster developed her gift in this art form over the years. She is able to change her masterful photographs into emotionally stirring works of art. Each piece is then digitally enhanced.
“The majesty of God’s creation that is so alive in nature is reflected in a fresh expression of joy and wonder,” a press release on Foster’s works stated. “This exhibit is one of a continuing series of shows made possible by the commitment of the Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Cafe to showcase local art and artists.”
