Morro Bay, CA will be celebrating the luck of the Irish with an old fashioned pub crawl. The proceeds go to The Friends of Morro Bay Harbor District to help a Floating Dock for the Sea Lions, Bill Luffee, Head of the MBHD stated, “Morro Bay is a popular destination to view wildlife. One such attraction is the our Floating Dock in the anchorage area, built in 1985, often completely submerged by the weight of numerous California Sea Lions. With an average male weighing around 600 pounds, the dock is beginning to give in to the stresses of its unintended purpose and is ready to be rebuilt and the cost will run close to $10,000”

On Friday March 16 from 6:00-10:00 PM is the first annual The Leprechaun Crawl, is happening on both the Embarcadero and downtown. This pub-crawl includes 13 restaurants and pubs will be participating in this adult scavenger hunt serving local wine, whiskey and IPA Beer. Partakers will be given a passport of all sharing; with a stamp given by each one you visit. A full one places you in a drawing for $1000 in prizes for a Morro Bay Staycation. There will be two staging areas: The Siren, and Harbor Hut, with the finish at The Libertine Brewing Company. Participants are required to dress as their version of a Leprechaun.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, but free to designated drivers. Everyone will have a passport that shows all participating business, a completely filled out one will be entered to win a $1000 Staycation in Morro Bay.
