Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District trustees are scheduled to approve a resolution that will authorize issuing up to $7.5 million in bonds to fund renovations, repairs and improvements to the campus when it meets Tuesday, Feb. 21.
The board also plans to conduct a public hearing on a petition for Olive Grove Charter School in Buellton during the meeting scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in the board room of the high school at 29075 E. Highway 246 in Santa Ynez.
In addition to authorizing the bond issue, trustees will consider establishing a citizens oversight committee to monitor how the money is spent and a resolution regarding the canvassing of the bond votes.
Other issues on the agenda include a public hearing on the collective bargaining agreement and action on the collective bargaining and negotiations agreements as well as a salary increase for administrative staff.
