Santa Ynez High School is still looking for junior varsity baseball coaches.

Hancock teams with Toys for Tots

The Hancock College women's basketball team will once again team up with the Toys for Tots Foundation of Santa Barbara County during the 20th annual Lady Bulldog Classic.

The tournament wraps up on Saturday at Joe White Memorial Gymnasium on the Hancock campus. Fans who bring an unwrapped toy worth $10 or more will receive free admission to the Lady Bulldog Classic.

Toys for Tots is collecting toys for children up to 17 years old.

Hancock will host Cuesta College, Orange Coast College, Los Angeles Harbor, College of the Siskiyous, College of the Sequoias, Santa Barbara City College and an All-Star team from Vandenberg Air Force Base in the Lady Bulldog Classic.    

AHC youth baseball clinic

The Hancock College baseball program will host a three-day winter youth clinic at Hancock's John Osborne Field.

The clinic will run from Dec. 21-Dec. 23. Clinic times are 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each day. The cost is $100 per child and $75 for each additional family member.

Children ages 6-to-13 are eligible. Registration is taking place. Parents and guardians can pay in person on the first day of camp or register online at athletics.hancockcollege.edu.

Instructors include the Hancock coaching staff and players, as well as former Major League pitcher Bryn Smith, Santa Maria Valley Packers coach Scott Nickason and Rogers State University assistant coach Skyler Ellis.
