EL PASO, Texas (AP) -- Luis Guillorme hit a two-run double in the top of the 11th inning to help lead the Las Vegas 51s to a 9-6 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas on Monday.
The double capped the four-run inning for the 51s after Johnny Monell and Phillip Evans hit RBI singles to give them the lead.
In the bottom of the inning, El Paso scored on a ground out by Brett Nicholas that brought home Diego Goris. However, the rally ended when Jamie Callahan got Luis Urias to ground out to end the game.
The 51s scored one run in the ninth before El Paso answered in the bottom of the inning when Franmil Reyes hit an RBI single, driving in Nicholas to tie the game 5-5.
Evans doubled and singled three times, scoring a pair of runs while also driving home a couple in the win. David Thompson doubled twice, driving home two runs.
Drew Smith (1-0) got the win with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless, two-hit relief while Colten Brewer (0-1) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game.
Allen Craig homered and singled, driving in two runs for the Chihuahuas.
Despite the loss, El Paso is 6-3 against Las Vegas this season.
