I would like to say how wonderful it was to watch from day one through its completion the building of the new Righetti Football Stadium, a facility I feel will be the envy of many of the schools in this area and surrounding areas.
I took photos of every phase of its construction through completion. Some of these photos I posted on the Internet, where amateurs and professionals photographers from all over the world post their work and receive comments from other photographers.
Two of the pictures I posted were taken during the Righetti and Paso Robles track meet. As a result of these two photos, I received comments from individuals from England and Australia. The technical manager of safety in Victoria, Australia, requested additional pictures of the shot put cage because of his concerns regarding safety around this event in his home town.
Comments from England were, “We don/t have tracks like this in our schools on this side of the pond.C
Knowing that people from all around the world and within the United States viewed these images and commented on the beauty of our complex has made me extremely proud that our school has built this magnificent facility.
I have heard from many individuals who have seen this facility and have marveled at its beauty. I just hope that students and others who use this facility will take pride in what has been built for them, and will not trash it like they have in the past to our press box and restrooms.
My sincere thanks to the school board and the administration for this beautiful stadium. I/m extremely proud of it and I hope others feel the same way.
