Santa Claus is coming to Olde Towne for the annual Christmas in Nipomo celebration Saturday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Community Hall, 2098 S. Thompson Ave.

Santa will ride down Tefft Street in his sleigh from 5 to 6 p.m., waving to spectators on his way to the Community Hall, where a variety of events will start at 5 p.m. in preparation for the jolly old elf’s arrival.

Fourth District Supervisor Katcho Achadjian will greet visitors as holiday music fills the hall, where children can make a variety of craft items to celebrate the season.

Nipomo Lions Club members will provide hot dogs at a nominal fee for adults and children age 12 and older. Visitors also can sip hot chocolate while they munch on cookies and other goodies.
