The Nipomo Native Garden will hold its annual plant sale Saturday, featuring hundreds of native and drought tolerant plants to choose from and purchase, with knowledgeable people to help customers make the best choices.

The sale will take place in the parking lot at the garden from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To reach the parking lot take Tefft Street to Pomeroy, then turn left on Camino Caballo and right on Osage Road. Come early for best selection.

In addition to the plant sale, the Nipomo Native Garden will have the opening of their Little Free Library at 11 a.m. in the Children’s Garden. Little Free Libraries are part of a nationwide movement to share books and bring communities together. Their motto is “Bring a Book, Take a Book."

We are hoping that our library will provide enjoyment to children and adults alike and that it will become self-sustaining, with visitors leaving their used books for others to enjoy and taking away something that will interest them.
