A resolution denying the petition to establish Olive Grove Charter School in Buellton is expected to be adopted by the Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District Board of Education when it meets Tuesday, April 18.

The board is also expected to approve the Measure K Citizens Oversight Committee in the meeting set for 5 p.m. in the board room at the high school at 2975 E. Highway 246 in Santa Ynez.

Both issues were discussed by the board at a previous meeting.

Other agenda items include a resolution to adopt informal construction bidding procedures, a resolution to close scholarship accounts held at Pacific Western Bank, a joint use of facilities agreement with Hancock College and a board policy regarding the naming of facilities.

In closed session, the board is scheduled to consider approving an inter-district transfer from Santa Maria Joint Unified School District.
