Police responding to a report of five people fighting ended up arresting four people — two for drug-related violations — and recovering two stolen vehicles Saturday.
Grover Beach police officers arrived at a home in the 1000 block of Baden Avenue about 6 p.m. as several people were walking away from the house, said Sgt. Jerry Cornell.
While questioning the men about the alleged fight, officers found that Randy Wessman, 55, was in possession of methamphetamine, Cornell said.
Officers also discovered two men with outstanding arrest warrants — 32-year-old Charles Christen for drug-related charges and 50-year-old Victor Wright, he said.
Police also allegedly found two stolen vehicles at the rear of the home.
One of the residents, Brian Heiberger, 28, was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property, vehicle theft and maintaining a “chop shop” — a place where stolen vehicles are dismantled and their parts are sold.
