‘Walk for Life’ to be at Waller Park

Care Net Pregnancy and Resource Center will hold a “Walk for Life” event at Waller Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. The walk benefits the nonprofit that provides free services to women, including information on pregnancy and options, STDs, post abortion counseling, parenting classes and pregnancy tests.

The kick-off rally begins at 9 a.m. followed by a 1.5 mile walk around the park and then returning for a barbecue lunch. There will also be a bounce house, games and booths for the family.
