Unfinished Business Productions will present the third annual ’60s Rock ’n’ Roll New Year’s Eve Bash at the South County Regional Center, 800 W. Branch St. in Arroyo Grande.
A prime rib and chicken marsala buffet dinner is included, prepared by Chef Doug and the Broiler Brothers from Alphy’s Broiler in Arroyo Grande. Vegetarian lasagna also will be available by request. A no-host bar and $10 corkage fee will benefit the Arroyo Grande Knights of Columbus.
Dancing will be to the music of Unfinished Business, a band specializing in the hits of the 1960s by such artists as the Beatles, the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones and various soul artists. The band includes Ben Davis of Arroyo Grande, rhythm guitarist and vocalist; drummer David Hollister, also of Arroyo Grande; Jim Witt of San Luis Obispo on bass and vocals; and bandleader Ed Miller of Nipomo on guitar and vocals.
Also performing with the group is Terry Lawless of Santa Maria, whose regular gig is working as the keyboard player for the superstar Irish band U2.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. Dec. 31, with dinner served from 7 to 8 p.m. and dancing from 8 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Jan. 1. Tickets cost $75 per person and must be purchased in advance. Admission also includes door prizes, party hats and noise makers, a Champagne toast and a drawing for a Fender Squire Telecaster electric guitar.
