The Cuyama Valley 4-H Club participated in the first Fall Festival at the softball field recently in New Cuyama. The event was a fundraiser for the Cuyama Valley Elementary and High School Gardens.
Activities included carnival games, blue caboose train rides, face painting and cupcake walk. There was a barbecue and pumpkin patch.
Cuyama Valley Recreation District dance class performances by local schoolchildren were enjoyed, followed by pumpkin dessert baking, scarecrow and costume contests.
The Fall Festival came to an end with punkin' chuckin' and lawnmower races.
The Cuyama Valley 4-H sold popcorn balls as a fundraiser.
