A multi-cultural Kwanzaa celebration will be held at 5:30 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church, 925 North F St. in Lompoc.

Guests are invited to bring a food that represents their culture and to share stories or poems about their heritage. 

The Reverend Bernadette Johnson, pastor of Providence First A.M.E. Church of Lompoc, will be a supporting participant of the program.

The event is jointly sponsored by Saint Phillip African Methodist Episcopal Church of Santa Maria and the Providence First African Methodist Episcopal Church of Lompoc.
