Temple Beth El of Santa Maria will celebrate the Jewish Festival of Lights at its annual community Hanukkah Party & Raffle fundraiser at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the temple, 1501 E. Alvin Ave. in Santa Maria.

The temple’s Brotherhood will prepare the latkes (potato pancakes) and fixings. Guests should bring a main dish, table service, a dessert to share and a menorah.

Admission is $6 for adult members, $7 for nonmembers and $2 for children ages 12 and under.

Raffle tickets will be sold at $10 each or four for $35 for prizes including unique, handcrafted items such as quilts, knitted scarves and cutting boards as well as a variety of gift certificates from PCPA Theaterfest, Santa Maria Philharmonic, Jiffy Lube, ABRO Computers, PetSmart, and several restaurants.

Admission tickets will be sold at the door, and raffle tickets will be available through Thursday, Dec. 6 by calling Marsha at 929-6301.
