So, what is it about a car show that attracts so many people? The answer is simply - EVERYTHING!
Where else can you walk around and view cars from the classics to modern? For the car enthusiasts, nothing is finer than showcasing your car and appreciating the work others have put into restoring and maintaining theirs.
The St. Louis de Montfort Knights of Columbus Council 11137 will host its 7th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Car Show Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1190 E. Clark Avenue, Orcutt, CA, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
The event will feature live music by Unfinished Business and presentations by the El Padrecito Ministries where youth from throughout the Central Coast celebrate the dances of their Folkloric Heritage.
Several food and non-food vendors will be present to meet the needs and interests of all who come out to the car show. Additionally, there will be car show t-shirts and raffle items for sale. This event is FREE to the public.
All net proceeds from the car show will be divided between St. Louis de Montfort Elementary School and St. Joseph High School for their scholarship programs, and the youth programs sponsored by Council 11137.
Two of our event sponsors, Honda of Santa Maria and Toyota of Santa Maria, are dedicating their sponsorship in honor of Dan Sallia. Dan has been working on several classic cars of Pat & Dana Cusack, Robin & Stephanie Ventura, and Chuck Hebard to name a few. Several of their cars will be on display, including 1964 Chevy Corvair, 1964 Impala SS409, 1964 Malibu SS Convertible, 1954 Corvette, 1956 Belair 2-Dr Hardtop, 1958 Packard Hawk, and a 1959 Silver Hawk Studebaker. (See accompanying story).
A special brief presentation followed by Q&A will be given in the parish hall by Dan Sallia and Robin Ventura.
